HAL McCOY: Longtime Reds beat writer and Hall of Famer Hal McCoy will be recognized by the City of Englewood on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Englewood City Building (333 National Road)…the long-time resident of Englewood will greet fans, sign autographs and answer questions…the 2009 season was the last covered by McCoy as beat writer for the Dayton Daily News…the longest-tenured beat writer in the country, he covered the Reds for 37 of his 46 years at the DDN.
