Former Red hoists World Series trophy

IF/OF Jerry “Bridge” Hairston Jr. is seen here celebrating with LHP CC Sabathia in the Yankees clubhouse following last night’s World Series Game 6. During the 2009 Postseason, Hairston batted .250 (2-for-8) and scored the winning run in the 13th inning of Game 2 of the ALCS vs LAA after his first career Postseason at-bat.

For Cincinnati, Hairston batted .254 this season with 8 HR and 27 RBI before being traded to the Yankees for minor league catcher Chase Weems at the trade deadline.
