The City of Goodyear and the Cincinnati Reds will host the grand opening of the Reds Player Development Complex at Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 from 6-9:30 pm MST.

Scheduled to attend the festivities from the Reds are:
– Bob Castellini, President and CEO
– Walt Jocketty, President of Baseball Operations and General Manager
– Phil Castellini, Chief Operating Officer
– Dick Williams, Vice President of Baseball Operations
– Eric Davis, Reds Hall of Fame outfielder

An evening of fun is planned for the entire family with booths, bouncers, games, food vendors and a raffle for tickets to a Spring Training game. Fans can participate in baseball activities such as fielding, batting and running the bases. Bring your blankets and pillows to watch a family baseball movie after dark on the new turf.
