FRIDAY’S TRANSACTIONS: SS Alex Gonzalez today returned from a rehabilitation assignment and was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list. He took the roster spot of IF Drew Sutton, who was optioned to Class AAA Louisville.
SUNDAY’S TRANSACTIONS: Today the Reds placed on the 15-day disabled list RHP Jared Burton (right shoulder fatigue), retroactive to Saturday, and recalled from Louisville RHP Josh Roenicke. Roenicke (#37) made 27 appearances for Louisville (1-0-12, 2.57, 28ip, 30h, 6bb, 32k)…this is his second stint with the Reds this season…in 10 appearances for Cincinnati from 6/18-7/16 posted a 2.92era.
SUNDAY’S INJURIES: RHP Micah Owings left the game with tightness in his right shoulder. He will be examined in Cincinnati on Monday by Reds medical director Dr. Timothy Kremchek. OF Chris Dickerson left with a jammed left shoulder. Will have an MRI on Monday.

GAME TIME CHANGE: The starting time for the Reds’ game against the Dodgers on Sat, 8/29 at Great American Ball Park has been changed to 4:10 p.m. ET to accommodate the FOX national broadcast…the game originally was scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. ET.
This was the view from my seat at Saturday’s game. If you look closely, the Reds have the lead on the scoreboard (1-0, mid 1st).
