Brandon Phillips Field, located at Clark Montessori School at 5425 Winton Ridge Lane in Cincinnati, was dedicated this afternoon…the club’s Gold Glove second baseman threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game involving teams from the Reds Community Fund’s RBI program…Phillips contributed $32,500 to the project, including $7,500 he received as the team’s 2008 Roberto Clemente Award winner…the Reds Community Fund donated an additional $20,000 to the development of the project as part of its field renovation program and new partnership with Cincinnati Public Schools…also attending this afternoon’s ceremony were Brandon’s parents, James and Lue, and his sister, Porsha.
